Magnolia Cottage offers child friendly and private family holiday house accommodation in Albury.
Provides self-catering accommodation for a group or a family for long or short term stays.

It provides for six people with a queen bedroom, a double bedroom, and a king double or two single beds in the third bedroom. The self contained kitchen is fully equipped including a full size fridge, microwave oven and stove for your convenience.

Being more spacious it is ideal for families and has a large formal dining room, adjoining the open plan lounge room with large flat screen HD TV and DVD/video player and plenty of comfortable recliner seating. The bathroom with toilet has a shower over a shallow bath. Access to a second toilet is near the third bedroom. The newly renovated laundry is complete with a modern washing machine and dryer. The sun room adjoining the kitchen and overlooking the rear garden is ideal for a quiet read while you relax.

Ducted heating and air-conditioning gives comfort throughout. A telephone for free local calls and dialup internet is also available. The cottage has it's own lockable garage with a double gate entrance from Tribune Street.
Half day, full day or weekly bicycle hire for adults can provide an extra activity and is available from the cottage upon request.

History

The red bricks of this 1943 Californian Bungalow are complimented by the manor red and cream paintwork making a strong statement of a stately home surrounded by an extensive, well developed garden . The roses, azaleas, magnolias, and spring bulbs give this cottage a lovely serene feeling with an abundance of fragrance in the spring. The home is renovated in the Art Deco style with brass fittings, polished board floors, and furnished with new furniture to enhance it's style.
